Santa Fe officials discuss municipal management and urban planning

In Santa Fe, local leaders and specialists are addressing municipal management and urban development. Carlos Suárez, a coordinator for strategic projects for the Municipality of Santa Fe and president of the provincial UCR convention, noted that while the city is improving, the current economic downturn poses significant challenges for municipal administration.

Suárez announced that the municipality is preparing to launch its first tender for sewage infrastructure works using a solidarity fund that had remained unexecuted for years.

Simultaneously, urban planners, academics, and residents met to discuss the future of Boulevard, a major strategic axis in the city. During the forum, the Rector of the Universidad Católica de Santa Fe and the director of the Centro de Estudios DEMOS signed an agreement to collaborate on urban projects and sustainable public policies. Senator Paco Garibaldi emphasized the need for long-term, integral urban planning for the metropolitan area rather than temporary fixes, highlighting Boulevard's importance for economic movement and local identity.
