Santa Fe officials meet EU Ambassador to discuss Mercosur trade
The Governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, received the European Union Ambassador to Argentina, Erik Høeg, to discuss commercial, productive, and investment opportunities arising from the Mercosur-EU agreement.
During the meeting, Provincial Minister of Productive Development Gustavo Puccini emphasized that Santa Fe is well-positioned to compete in the European market, noting that the province accounts for between 22% and 25% of Argentina's total exports. Puccini stated that the province meets the strict environmental and traceability standards required by the EU.
Ambassador Høeg was declared an ‘Honorary Guest’ by the provincial government. His visit included participating in a session organized by the Santa Fe Board of Trade regarding the bilateral agreement. The provincial administration is working to support small and medium-sized enterprises through training and certifications to facilitate access to European markets.
