Law enforcement agencies conduct widespread arrests across Latin America and Spain

Law enforcement agencies across Spain, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, and Mexico have conducted various operations resulting in numerous arrests for violent crimes, drug trafficking, and theft.

In Spain, authorities dismantled a drug distribution point in Puerto de la Cruz, seizing crack, cocaine, and weapons, while also arresting suspects in Altea for industrial thefts. In Granada, two men were detained following a violent assault and robbery.

In Colombia, operations led to the dismantling of the ‘Los Domiciliarios’ gang in Tuluá and the capture of a suspect linked to the murder of a former mayor. In the Dominican Republic, police reported 42 voluntary surrenders of fugitives in early October and apprehended a suspect for a high-profile robbery caught on video.

In Argentina, investigations continue into a high-profile murder in Misiones involving suspected Brazilian gang members, as well as various local thefts and drug seizures. In Mexico, a court sentenced six men linked to the Gulf Cartel for the disappearance of four Americans in Matamoros.
