Santa Fe political and security developments
The Socialist Party in Santa Fe has concluded a series of participatory meetings under the initiative ‘Planificar Sirve’ as it prepares to campaign for control of the Rosario municipal government. Led by Secretary General Joaquín Blanco, the party held sessions across various districts, including the South and Southwest, to gather proposals from residents, professionals, and social organizations to address city challenges.
Separately, provincial spokesperson Virginia Coudannes highlighted the progress of the Santa Fe government’s security plan. Coudannes noted that the administration is seeking new legislative tools to grant more authority to the judiciary and prosecution services. She reported significant enforcement activity in the La Capital department, including over 600,000 person identifications and the arrest of 257 individuals linked to the theft of metals and cables.
