Santa Fe political maneuvering intensifies ahead of 2027 elections

Political maneuvering has begun in Santa Fe ahead of the 2027 elections, specifically targeting the primary elections scheduled for April 2027 and the general elections in June 2027.

Within the Peronist movement, several figures are positioning themselves for future roles. National deputies Germán Martínez, representing the Unión por la Patria caucus, and Diego Giuliano, representing the Frente Renovador, have indicated gubernatorial intentions. Other potential contenders include María de los Angeles Sacnún, as well as mayors Roly Santacroce of Funes and Pablo Corsalini of Pérez.

Beyond the governorship, much of the immediate political focus is directed toward the renewal of provincial deputies, ten seats for national deputies, and three senatorial seats in the National Congress.
