Santa Fe Province hosts children's day festival in Esperanza and 150‑year choir concert in Pilar

On Sunday 2 August, the municipality of Esperanza, together with the provincial Ministry of Culture, organized a Children’s Day celebration at the Parque de la Agricultura. The event featured the itinerant program “Yo vi tu corazón,” offering theatrical performances, games, and a dance floor for families and visitors.

A week later, on Sunday 9 August, the Provincial Polyphonic Choir of Santa Fe, under the direction of Virginia Bono, performed in the parish of Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Pilar. The concert marked the 150th anniversary of the commune of Las Colonias and included works by Carlos Guastavino and pieces from the “Mujeres Argentinas” cycle, highlighting the province’s cultural outreach.

Both activities are part of the Ministry of Culture’s policy to decentralize artistic programming and bring cultural offerings to communities across Santa Fe Province.
