Santa Fe Province Orchestras Unveil International Conducting Seminar and Rosario Concert

The Santa Fe Province Symphony Orchestra announced that registration for its International Conducting Seminar, focused on opera repertoire, opens on 7 August and runs through 14 August. The nine‑day program, led by director Silvio Viegas, will run in September and is open to students and young conductors of any nationality, culminating in a gala concert with the orchestra.

Meanwhile, the Rosario Provincial Symphony Orchestra will present a new season concert on Thursday at Teatro El Círculo, conducted by guest maestro Yeny Delgado. The program includes the world premiere of “Pasión, Muerte y Resurrección de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo” by local composer Marcelo Ajubita, an interlude by Augusta Holmès, and Béla Bartók’s “Concerto for Orchestra.”
