Santa Fe Province pushes ahead with major road repaving projects

The provincial government of Santa Fe is completing the repavement of Provincial Route 13 between San Jorge and Carlos Pellegrini. The 19‑kilometre stretch is 80 % finished, with 17 km already paved and a new roundabout at the Route 66 junction slated for completion in July. The work, carried out by Pelque S.A. with an investment exceeding 20 billion Argentine pesos, also includes redesign of a roundabout in El Trébol.

Meanwhile, municipal crews in Puerto General San Martín, in cooperation with the national road authority, are carrying out repairs and resurfacing on National Route 11 over the weekend. One lane is closed with alternating traffic, and restrictions apply: all vehicles can travel southbound, while northbound traffic is limited to light vehicles and public transport, with trucks diverted via alternate streets. The operation aims to minimise disruption during the harvest period and is overseen by local civil protection, provincial safety agencies, police and national gendarmerie.
