Santa Fe to host regenerative agriculture forum in Rosario

The Government of Santa Fe, through its Ministry of Productive Development, is partnering with Syngenta to host the “Regenerative Agriculture in Action” forum in Rosario. The event aims to address soil sustainability and the productivity of agricultural chains.

Provincial officials highlighted that soil is a vital productive asset. Currently, approximately 5.67 million hectares out of the province's 13.3 million hectares are experiencing active water-related degradation. To combat this, the administration has established soil recovery as a strategic policy to maintain long-term competitiveness.

The forum will showcase advancements from the Santa Fe Soil Observatory and its Digital Platform (PD-OSS), a system designed to help agronomists create five-year management plans using georeferenced data.
