Santa Fe to offer 380 new taxi and remise licenses

The Municipality of Santa Fe is opening a registration process for 380 vacant taxi and remise licenses. The initiative includes 130 new licenses for the taxi subsystem and 250 for the remise subsystem.

Registration will take place exclusively online through the Municipal Virtual Office from Monday, August 31, at 8:00 AM until Friday, September 18, at 1:00 PM. The call for applicants is open to taxi and remise drivers, drivers currently working via electronic travel platforms, and other interested individuals who meet the established requirements.

Priority for the allocation will be based on previous experience. For taxi licenses, priority follows the order of taxi drivers, remise drivers, platform drivers, and then other applicants. For remise licenses, the order is remise drivers, taxi drivers, platform drivers, and then other applicants. Drivers from existing services must demonstrate at least six months of seniority. If applicants exceed the available licenses within a category, the allocation will be determined by a public lottery before a notary.
