Santa Giusta hosts 45th Regata de Is Fassonis

The 45th edition of the Regata de Is Fassonis took place in the lagoon of Santa Giusta, celebrating local fishing traditions and history. The event featured rowing competitions in both adult and youth categories, emphasizing the transmission of traditional skills from older generations to the town's youth.

In the adult rowing race, Davide Pili secured first place, followed by his cousin Matteo Pili in second and his father Marco Pili in third. The youth competition included participants such as Angelo Pani, Chiara Pili, Silvia Statzu, Riccardo Pisoni, Gabriele Ardu, and Gabriele Cadoni.

Organized by the Is Fassoneris Association, the Municipality, and the Pro Loco, the event also included cultural activities such as local gastronomy tastings and folk music performances to attract both residents and tourists.
