Santa Luce cooperative inaugurates new olive oil mill

The Cooperativa Produttori Agricoli Pieve Santa Luce has inaugurated a new olive oil mill at its Via delle Colline facilities in Santa Luce, Italy. The project replaces an obsolete facility that had become too costly to maintain.

The investment exceeded 400,000 euros (plus VAT) and was supported by a 65% regional contribution through the Rural Development Plan. The new facility aims to serve the cooperative’s 407 members and seeks to reach a production milestone of 10,000 quintals of milled olives.

The inauguration ceremony included local officials, such as Mayor Giamila Carli and Tuscany Regional Council President Stefania Saccardi, as well as representatives from various agricultural associations and regional departments.
