Santa Luzia worker dies in ice machine accident

A 35-year-old man died on Sunday after becoming trapped in an ice machine while working in Santa Luzia, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte.

The Minas Gerais Fire Department (CBMG) and SAMU responded to the scene, attempting pre-hospital care to rescue the victim. Despite efforts from six fire department vehicles and the Arcanjo 13 helicopter, the man suffered cardiac arrest and passed away during the operation. Authorities noted the incident occurred during working hours, classifying it as a potential workplace accident.
