Santa María de Fe implements detour for access portal repairs

The Municipality of Santa María de Fe has implemented a signaled detour to ensure mobility for residents and visitors during repair works on the district's access portal. The structure was damaged on May 14, 2025, when a Volvo truck transporting a Komatsu excavator collided with the reinforced concrete entrance.

Although a judicial process is underway to seek compensation from those responsible, municipal authorities decided to fund the repairs using local resources due to legal delays. Mayor Ramón Sanabria stated that the project was requested by citizens and authorized by the Municipal Board.

The new construction will maintain the original design but will be increased in height by 1.5 meters, reaching a total height of 6.5 meters. The project, being executed by a contractor from Ayolas, involves an investment of 149 million Guaraníes.
