Santa María del Páramo hosts 22nd Velada Poética

Santa María del Páramo will host the 22nd edition of its traditional Velada Poética at the Magdalena Segurado Civic Center on Friday, August 21. This year’s event is dedicated to Rafael Alberti and María Teresa León, prominent figures of the Generation of '27 and significant contributors to 20th-century Spanish literature.

The evening will feature poetry and live music, aiming to bring the works of major literary figures to the local community. Mayor Alicia Gallego stated that the initiative seeks to maintain the spirit of poetry in the municipality by creating spaces for cultural encounter.
