Santa Maria a Monte to host Wine & Swing festival

The village of Santa Maria a Monte will host the “Wine & Swing” festival on Saturday, September 26. The event, running from 5:00 PM to midnight, aims to combine music, gastronomy, and local heritage within the historic center.

Organized by Confcommercio Pisa, the Natural Commercial Center of Santa Maria a Monte, and the Associazione Amici della Chiocciola, the festival features 12 wineries offering over 60 different wine labels from various Italian regions. The program includes four live swing music stages, street food, markets, a photographic exhibition, and guided tours.

Various locations throughout the village, including the Archaeological Park and several central squares, will serve as tasting stations for producers from areas such as Bolgheri, Valdobbiadene, Trento, and the Terre di Pisa.
