Santa Maria di Licodia property owner reported after worker falls from ladder

A 57-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after falling approximately three meters from a ladder while performing electrical work in a building undergoing renovation in Santa Maria di Licodia.

Following the incident, the Carabinieri launched an investigation into the safety conditions of the site. Local health authorities (SPRESAL) conducted an inspection to verify safety protocols and documentation. The investigation revealed that the 66-year-old property owner had requested the electrical work from the victim.

As a result, the property owner has been reported to the judicial authorities for negligent personal injury. The site has been seized for further investigation.
