Santa Maria Maggiore hosts annual Corrida festival

The town of Santa Maria Maggiore recently held its annual “Corrida” event, organized by the local Pro Loco. The festivities included a “Corrida Junior” session featuring 23 young performers, including singers, dancers, and musicians. Michela Prelli, president of the Pro Loco, noted that the junior event focused on talent sharing rather than competition.

The evening program featured 12 artists performing for a live audience at Villa Antonia. The winners, determined by audience applause, were Greta Cattaneo in first place, Emanuele Pintau in second, and Bruno Kodra in third. The event concluded with a choral hymn celebrating the beauties of Santa Maria Maggiore.
