Santa Pola names new festival queens for 2026

Santa Pola Fiestas Reina Mayor Reina Infantil Moros y Cristianos Spain festivals

The town of Santa Pola has announced its festival royalty for 2026. Helena Martínez Alba, an 18-year-old student of Oral Hygiene, has been proclaimed the new Reina Mayor (Queen) of the festivities.

In a gala held at the El Palmeral auditorium, Martínez Alba was selected by popular vote from five candidates. The event was attended by municipal authorities, including Mayor Loreto Serrano.

Additionally, Inés Abad Vicent has been named the Reina Infantil (Children's Queen) for 2026. She will be accompanied by her Honor Court, consisting of Alison Bou Ato, Carmen Cerdán Bonmatí, Laura López Rodríguez, and Inés Orozco Dols. These appointments are part of the preparations for the upcoming Patron Saint festivities and the Moros y Cristianos celebrations in honor of the Virgin of Loreto.
