Santa Rosa celebrates 115th anniversary with new hospital and fire station

During the 115th anniversary celebrations of Santa Rosa, Corrientes Governor Juan Pablo Valdés inaugurated several key infrastructure projects focused on health and emergency services.

In the realm of public health, the new Hospital ‘Dra. María del Carmen Casellas’ was opened, featuring outpatient clinics, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and inpatient services. This facility is intended to serve the residents of Santa Rosa and the surrounding Concepción area.

To improve environmental safety and fire prevention, a new Forest Fire Brigade (BRIF) station was inaugurated in the Industrial Park. The facility is equipped with modern water tankers and 4x4 vehicles, staffed by 50 personnel. This move follows the significant forest fires of 2022. The governor also announced plans for a fourth station in Gobernador Virasoro and a potential fifth in Santo Tomé.

Additionally, a new ambulance was delivered to bolster the provincial emergency response network.
