Santa Rosa del Conlara celebrates anniversary as Ceuta prepares for royal visit

Santa Rosa del Conlara celebrated its 168th anniversary with a large parade involving more than 50 institutions, civil associations, and gaucho groups. The event, attended by Governor Claudio Poggiy and Mayor Miguel Postiguillo, included a flag-raising ceremony and musical performances by the Argentine Army and Provincial Police bands.

In Ceuta, municipal authorities have called for a major institutional gathering to welcome King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia. This visit is noted as historically significant because, for the first time in a democracy, a Spanish head of state will stay overnight in the autonomous city. The visit is viewed by local leadership as a gesture of support and a moment for citizens to reaffirm their connection to the Spanish Crown.
