Santa Rosa hosts Raly Barrionuevo concert and benefit for Maxi Cuffini

Argentine singer-songwriter Raly Barrionuevo is returning to Santa Rosa to present his new album, ‘El Camino de Solgo’. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, at 20:00 at the Teatro Español. The 14-track album, which features participation from Cuban musician Silvio Rodríguez, is described by Barrionuevo as a personal reflection of his current life stage, crafted through a slow and artisanal process.

In a separate local event, a benefit concert was held at El Galpón in Santa Rosa to support guitarist Maxi Cuffini. Cuffini, who has lived in the Dominican Republic for over two decades, is currently battling kidney cancer that has metastasized. The community organized the musical gathering to help raise funds for his high monthly medical costs, which reach approximately $20,000, as his family seeks to bring him back to Argentina for continued treatment.
