Santa Rosa Sanctuary reopens in Viterbo after restoration

Various religious and community events are taking place across Italy. In Viterbo, the Santa Rosa Sanctuary has officially reopened to the public following a two-year conservative restoration project. The restoration was necessitated by a collapse that damaged parts of the dome's frescoes. As part of the reopening, the monastery's dome windows are now illuminated nightly from dusk until midnight, a project conceived by Mother Abbess Carmela Salvato and executed by architect Damiano Amatore.

In Prato, the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Giglio is commemorating the 364th anniversary of the miraculous blooming of a lily. The event includes a solemn Mass and the Holy Rosary.

Other regional activities include a pilgrimage for priests from Trento to Turin to visit sites related to Saint John Bosco and Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati, and the Festa Patronale of Santa Teresa d’Avila in Spoltore, which features religious services alongside musical tributes and local gastronomy. Additionally, the Sagra del Tituccio in Corpolò is celebrating its 24th edition with a program of sport, music, and culture.
