Santa Sofia to host International Forum on Cultural Sustainability

The second edition of the International Forum on Cultural Sustainability will be held at the Galleria civica d’Arte Contemporanea Vero Stoppioni in Santa Sofia on September 25, 2026. Promoted by Institution, the forum focuses on the theme ‘Culture Commons: institutions, networks, and new forms of cooperation.’

Acting as a central hub, the event will connect with various global cities, including New York, Shenzhen, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Tanguieta. The program explores culture as a shared resource through three primary areas: shared governance and participatory cultures, technology and digital commons including artificial intelligence, and post-capitalist economies and mutualistic models.

The forum will feature contributions from a diverse group of international artists, economists, and scholars, including Silvia Federici, the Indonesian collective ruangrupa, and Michel Bauwens.
