Search operations continue in Santa Teresita, Argentina, six days after two kayakers, Oscar Barbero (64) and Félix Mendieta (43), disappeared at sea. The men, members of the Guerrero Kayak Fishing group, entered the water during stormy weather and were unable to return to the coast.

The Prefectura Naval Argentina is conducting searches across four specific areas, including the beaches of Santa Teresita, Mar del Tuyú, and Mar de Ajó, as well as the San Clemente stream area. The operation utilizes aerial, land, and surface resources, including the PA-62 aircraft and coast guard vessels.

Rescuers noted that search patterns are being adjusted based on weather conditions and tidal movements, which help estimate where the individuals or their equipment might have drifted. Search experts emphasized that time is a critical factor in the ongoing mission.
