Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic to host community health fair

The Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic (SYTHC) will host a free Community Resource Health Fair on Friday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at the Tribal Hall on the Santa Ynez Reservation.

Designed to increase awareness of health and social services in Santa Barbara County, the fair expects more than 40 participating organizations. Attendees can access information regarding healthcare, public safety, family and senior services, health insurance, and community wellness. Participating entities include the American Red Cross, California Highway Patrol, CenCal Health, and Covered California.

In addition to informational booths, the event will feature nutrition information, family activities, food trucks, and raffle prizes. SYTHC medical and dental teams will be present to share details about available services, and a free blood donation opportunity will be provided. All activities are walk-in and do not require appointments.
