In the nearby community of Campo de Santana, Nísia Floresta, a month‑long Sant’Ana celebration runs from July 16 to 26, 2026. Daily activities include early‑morning penitential walks, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Ofício de Sant’Ana, Marian rosaries and novenas led by local priests and deacons. The schedule also features a procession of the saint’s image, a solemn mass on the final day, and a range of sociocultural events such as a mass festival, music performances, a beauty contest, traditional dances, and a community soup. Both festivals emphasize religious devotion and local cultural traditions.
