Sant'Anastasia Mayor Mariano Caserta cracks down on illegal nightlife and waste dumping

Mayor Mariano Caserta said the city will protect residents day and night by tightening controls on illegal motorcycle riding during the nightlife, improper parking and unlawful waste dumping. He announced that the local police, Carabinieri and civil‑protection units have already been mobilised and that surveillance will be expanded with more CCTV cameras and the increased use of drones to identify offenders.

Caserta promised heavy fines and exemplary penalties for those responsible, urging politicians themselves to set an example by obeying traffic rules and not obstructing authorities. The goal, he said, is to restore safety and decorum for residents and legitimate businesses in Sant'Anastasia.
