Santander and IE Foundation launch AI training scholarships

Banco Santander and the IE Foundation, through the IE Foundation, have announced 90 scholarships for the ‘Santander | Innovation & AI Experience in Madrid 2027’ program. This international training initiative aims to teach young people from various disciplines how to utilize artificial intelligence to innovate and solve problems.

The program will be held in person in Madrid, Spain, from July 12 to July 23, 2027. It is designed to include participants from 12 different countries and does not require prior technical knowledge or a background in STEM fields. The scholarships cover tuition, round-trip international flights, accommodation, and travel insurance, though participants are responsible for local transfers and personal medical insurance.

Separately, the ‘Aprende volando’ program has launched free courses focused on digital competencies, including artificial intelligence, graphic design, and basic office automation to improve employability and reduce the technological gap.
