Santander announces teacher AI training and social impact coffee campaign
Santander has announced several social and educational initiatives. The bank will open registrations on October 15, 2026, for a free online course titled ‘Santander Professores: Novas Competências’. Partnering with the Semesp Corporate University, the program offers 2,000 spots for higher education professors. The curriculum includes four tracks: AI applied to teaching, active methodologies, communication and influence, and sustainable education. A physical immersion phase is planned for July 2027 at FGV in São Paulo.
Additionally, in celebration of International Coffee Day, Santander is launching a social impact campaign across its WorkCafé units in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. In Brazil, espresso coffee will be sold for R$ 5 at 28 WorkCafé locations. The bank will donate the full value of each dose to the ‘Amigo de Valor’ program, which supports children and adolescents in vulnerable social situations. The 2026 edition of the program aims to support 58 projects.
