Santander Old Book Fair reaches 10,000 sales and 30,000 visitors

The XXVII Santander Old Book Fair (FLVS) has concluded with approximately 10,000 books sold and an estimated 30,000 visitors. Event director Paco Roales reported that the fair saw roughly 600 transactions per stall.

The decision to extend the programming by one week was described by organizers as a total success. Due to this positive outcome, the organization intends to propose a 23-day format for the 2027 edition. Participants and booksellers noted that the extra week helped offset stall costs and provided more time for cultural activities, such as dramatized readings, which have become a successful complementary component of the event.
