Santander Slow Fashion and CARAS Moda highlight sustainable and artistic design

The sixth edition of Santander Slow Fashion focused on ecodesign, circularity, and responsible consumption. Organized by the Asociación de Creadores de Cantabria, the event highlighted the value of handmade craftsmanship and local production. Costa Rica participated as the guest country, while the Matarraña region of Spain was recognized for its artisans.

Featured designers included Leyre Doueil with the ‘Golden Hour’ collection, Zulema Jara with ‘Adlib Tanit’, and Paula Alegría with ‘Nomad’. The event emphasized a shift from quantity to quality through unique, artisanal garments.

In Argentina, CARAS Moda 2026 was held at Artlab in Chacarita, celebrating fashion as a collective experience through digital shows and live performances. The event brought together various designers, including Javier Saiach, Fabián Zitta, and Evangelina Bomparola, alongside numerous public figures to explore the intersection of design, music, and art.
