Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi hosts literary event for Vittorio Vicari book

In Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi, the third installment of the August Literary Café was held at the Pro Loco square. The event focused on cultural promotion and the valorization of local writers and poets from the Irpinia region.

A central highlight was the presentation of the book ‘Vittorio Vicari tra guerra e poesia’ (Vittorio Vicari between war and poetry). The work was produced by Professor Filomena Marino in collaboration with philologist Professor Maria Grazia Dell’Angelo. The publication aims to reconstruct the logical thought of Vicari through a collection of notes and documents.

Local officials, including Mayor Repole and Pro Loco President Tony Lucido, attended the event. Speakers emphasized the importance of using literature to strengthen local identity among younger generations and to convey messages of peace.
