Sant’Anna Hospital hosts influenza vaccine Open Day in Como

Sant’Anna Hospital in San Fermo della Battaglia will host an Open Day on October 31 to provide free influenza vaccinations. The event, running from 9:00 to 15:00, specifically targets pregnant women, new mothers, and minors.

Pregnant women and new mothers can access the vaccinations without a prior appointment. For children and adolescents aged 6 months to 17 years, booking is mandatory via the ‘Prenota Salute’ regional portal to manage wait times. The medical team on-site will include a pediatrician, a pediatric nurse, two midwives, and a nurse from the Como vaccination center.

While this event focuses on vulnerable groups, ASST Lariana noted that free influenza vaccinations have been available to the general population since October 12 through family doctors or the regional booking portal.
