Sant’Antioco to host Navigantes cultural caravan

The fourth edition of “Navigantes – La carovana dell’identità” is scheduled to take place in Sant’Antioco on October 4. Organized by the Fondazione Maria Carta, the event aims to share Sardinian traditions, music, and dance with neighboring communities.

The event will feature a parade of approximately 450 participants representing over 50 Sardinian municipalities. The procession will include traditional costume groups, the Mamuthones and Issohadores masks from Mamoiada, and various traditional musicians playing instruments such as the launeddas and diatonic accordions. The program includes institutional meetings and musical performances by groups such as the Tenores di Bitti and local performers.
