Santarcangelo and Ortona announce traffic changes for upcoming events
Local authorities in Santarcangelo and Ortona have announced significant traffic and parking restrictions due to upcoming public events.
In Santarcangelo, the Fiera di San Michele will take place on September 26 and 27. To facilitate setup and the event, parking is prohibited in the Cagnacci parking lot from September 24 until September 28, with exceptions for residents and authorized vehicles. Major traffic and parking bans will affect Piazza Ganganelli, Piazza Marini, and Piazza Marconi starting the afternoon of September 25. Various streets, including Via Garibaldi and Via Verdi, will also face closures during the peak of the festivities.
In Ortona, an Anpi procession scheduled for Saturday, September 26, will necessitate road closures and the removal of outdoor seating (dehors) for local businesses. The procession will move from Ciavocco parking lot to Piazza della Repubblica. Parking bans with vehicle removal are set from 7:00 to 14:00, while transit restrictions will apply from 8:00 until the event concludes.
