Santena introduces new GTT bus stops in Case Nuove and Borgo Taggia

Starting Monday, October 12, new GTT bus stops will be operational in the Santena districts of Case Nuove and Borgo Taggia. The GTT line 2354/354 will now include stops in the via Torino area near via Cortina for both outbound and return trips.

The initiative follows a request from the Municipality of Santena to GTT and the Agenzia della Mobilità Piemontese. Local officials, including Mayor Roberto Ghio and Transport Councilor Giovanni Iannuzzi, stated the change aims to improve public transport accessibility for residents, particularly students traveling to schools in Carignano.

Previously, the nearest access point was piazza Martiri della Libertà, located approximately 1.4 kilometers from via Cortina. The new stops are intended to increase autonomy for students and reduce the reliance on private vehicles for daily commutes to nearby towns such as Villastellone and Cambiano.
