Santena opens third municipal dog park in Carolina zone

The municipality of Santena has opened a new public dog area in the Carolina zone, located near the via Sangone playground. This marks the third such area in the municipality, joining existing spaces in via Brignole and via Trinità.

To ensure safety and comfort, the new space is divided into two distinct sectors: one for small dogs and another for medium and large dogs. The facility includes amenities such as water fountains, benches, and shaded areas.

Local officials noted that the project was implemented in response to requests from citizens. Cristian Barbini, Councilor for Green Areas, stated that the intervention aims to make green spaces more functional for daily needs. Giovanni Iannuzzi, a municipal councilor, emphasized that dedicated spaces promote better coexistence between pet owners and other park users, provided that rules regarding cleanliness and leash usage are followed.
