Santhera reports significant H1 revenue growth and reduced losses
Biopharmaceutical company Santhera reported a significant increase in revenue for the first half of 2026, more than doubling its total revenue to 48.3 million Swiss francs. This growth was primarily driven by Agamree, a treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
Product sales rose by 48 percent to 17.2 million Swiss francs, while income from licenses and milestone payments increased more than fourfold to 29.1 million Swiss francs. A notable contributor to this increase was an upfront payment from a licensing agreement for the drug Nxera.
Alongside the revenue surge, Santhera successfully reduced its net loss to 6.6 million Swiss francs, compared to 35.4 million Swiss francs in the first half of the previous year. The company's liquid assets nearly doubled to 41.8 million Swiss francs by mid-year. Santhera maintains its full-year 2026 revenue target of between 80 and 90 million Swiss francs.
