Santiago Abascal's three children hospitalized in Spain

Santiago Abascal's wife, influencer Lidia Bedman, posted on social media that their three children were admitted to hospital within three days. No cause was disclosed. Bedman shared an image of the youngest, Hernán, with an IV line and wrote, “Three children hospitalized, one after another… tired but infinitely grateful that everything is going well.” The children are Jimena (born 2013), Santiago (born 2015) and Hernán (born July 2024). While the family dealt with the hospitalizations, Abascal was in Ceuta attending to the migration crisis there. Followers sent messages of support, but the family has not provided further details on the children’s conditions.

The family lives in a residential area near Madrid, and the hospitalizations have drawn public attention due to Abascal’s role as leader of the far‑right Vox party.
