Santiago announces Expo Acero and Expo Cibao 2026

Organizers in Santiago, Dominican Republic, have announced details for two major upcoming commercial and industrial events scheduled for 2026.

The fourth edition of Expo Acero will take place from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). The event will feature over 100 exhibiting brands and will recognize the United States as the guest of honor. Vice President Raquel Peña is confirmed to participate in the opening ceremony. The expo has established alliances with several universities, including UNIBE, UNPHU, INTEC, UCATECI, UTESA, PUCMM, and UASD, to bridge the gap between academia and the steel construction industry.

Separately, the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and Production introduced Expo Cibao 2026. The 39th edition of this multisectoral commercial exhibition is scheduled for September 30 to October 4, 2026, at Parque Central. Under the theme “Unidos por la competitividad” (United for competitiveness), the event aims to connect various sectors including industry, free zones, agribusiness, and technology to drive regional development and investment.
