Santiago de Cuba hosts cultural and radio journalism events

The Asociación Hermanos Saíz (AHS) is hosting cultural and journalistic events in Santiago de Cuba. The “Mirada a los 40” event celebrated the AHS legacy in journalism, literature, and history, featuring guest speaker Reinaldo Cedeño Pineda, who discussed the importance of human-centric storytelling and the role of the AHS in promoting young Cuban art.

Additionally, the 36th edition of the “Antonio Lloga In Memoriam” Youth Radio Festival is scheduled for September 24 and 25 in Santiago de Cuba. This year’s festival will focus on honoring the work of radio sports commentators and narrators. The program includes workshops, discussion panels, and presentations aimed at fostering new talent in sports journalism and maintaining the tradition of radio broadcasting in Cuba.
