Santiago De La Peña meets with Chihuahua service workers
Santiago De La Peña and a group of associates met with more than 400 servers in Chihuahua to participate in a community event where the group took over service duties. The initiative allowed the workers to sit and be served while De La Peña and his companions worked as servers.
De La Peña used the occasion to recognize the labor of service workers, noting their long hours and the role they play in supporting their families. He stated that the goal was to listen to the workers, as they possess unique insights into the needs of the city. He emphasized that the growth of Chihuahua depends on creating more opportunities for those involved in the restaurant, convention, and tourism sectors.
