Santiago de los Caballeros showcases business and MICE tourism potential

Members and executives of the Dominican Association of Tourism Press (Adompretur) recently conducted a tour of Santiago de los Caballeros to evaluate the city's potential as a destination for business, meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE).

The itinerary included visits to the Hotel Santiago, Curio Collection by Hilton, the Santiago Free Zone Corporation, the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, and the Ágora Santiago Center. These locations highlight the city's blend of hospitality, business activity, and historical heritage.

Opened in December 2024, the Hotel Santiago aims to strengthen the MICE segment in the northern region of the country. The facility features 177 rooms and specialized event spaces, including an outdoor terrace and a library. The hotel also maintains initiatives with PUCMM to support practical training for hospitality students.
