Santiago del Estero Cadastre marks 77th anniversary with tech updates

The General Directorate of Cadastre in Santiago del Estero celebrated its 77th anniversary by presenting recent technological advancements aimed at modernizing and digitalizing cadastral processes. The initiative focuses on increasing security, precision, and reliability in managing territorial information.

Key developments include the strengthening of the provincial geodetic infrastructure, conducted in collaboration with the National Geographic Institute. This includes the addition of a new geodetic reference station and a GNSS receiver, with more GNSS stations planned for deployment across the province to improve the accuracy of land surveys and measurements.

Director General Florencia López Castro emphasized the agency's commitment to its strategic role in territorial planning and public policy. The event also included recognition for retired workers and was attended by various provincial officials, including the Undersecretary of Finance and Public Revenue, Matías Nazer.
