Santiago del Estero Council completes judicial selection process

The Council of the Magistracy of Santiago del Estero has concluded the selection process for Control and Guarantees judges. This final stage, part of Contest No. 132/2026, involved personal interviews with 22 legal professionals.

Led by President Dr. Federico López Alzogaray, the council evaluated candidates for several positions: seven roles for the Capital Jurisdiction, two for La Banda, and one transitional judge role for the neighboring city. The evaluation panel included representatives from registered lawyers, the Judiciary, the Public Ministry, and provincial deputies.
