Santiago del Estero hosts first psychoanalysis conference

The First Santiago Psychoanalysis Conference was held at the Dr. Ramón Carrillo Auditorium of the Ministry of Health of Santiago del Estero. The event brought together health professionals, residents, teachers, and students to discuss the challenges of psychoanalytic practice within the public health sector, clinical supervision, and integral mental health approaches.

The opening was led by Health Secretary Dr. Gustavo Sabalza, who emphasized the growing importance of mental health within the provincial sanitary system and the need to strengthen comprehensive care centered on the patient. Other key participants included Néstor Medina, director of the Integral Mental Health Center, and specialists from the Lacanian Orientation School and the World Association of Psychoanalysis.
