Santiago del Estero hosts II Ibero-American Meeting of Parliamentary Law

The Legislature of Santiago del Estero is hosting the II Ibero-American Meeting of Parliamentary Law, bringing together legal specialists from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, and El Salvador.

Vice Governor and President of the Chamber of Deputies, Carlos Silva Neder, inaugurated the event. In his opening remarks, Silva Neder emphasized that perfecting legislative practices is an institutional obligation, particularly as democracy requires increased transparency, training, and proximity to the citizenry. He noted that parliamentary law provides the necessary technical quality and legitimacy to democratic institutions.

Key participants include Pablo Ramón Lucatelli, president of the Ibero-American Institute of Parliamentary Law (IIDP), and María Elizabeth Guimaraes Teixeira Rocha, president of the Superior Military Court of Brazil. The meeting aims to strengthen academic exchange and institutional quality through legal and parliamentary dialogue.
