Santiago del Estero hosts 23rd Provincial Science and Technology Fair

The 23rd Provincial Science and Technology Fair recently concluded at the Nodo Tecnológico in Santiago del Estero. The event featured more than 250 school research projects presented by over 800 students and 130 teachers.

Utilizing a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach, the projects aimed to address real-world environmental and social issues. Participants included various educational levels, ranging from kindergarten to secondary school, with specific contributions from municipal kindergartens showcasing themes such as meteorites, river ecosystems, and intelligent dikes.

Governor Elías Suárez and Minister of Education Mariela Nassif attended the proceedings, emphasizing the importance of education and technology for the province's future development. Following the evaluation by a jury, selected winning projects will advance to represent the province in upcoming national science fairs scheduled in San Luis, Jujuy, and Córdoba.
