Santiago del Estero launches space simulator tours for kindergartens

Municipal kindergartens have launched a guided visit program to the ‘Mama Antula I’ Space Shuttle, a large-scale educational simulator designed to teach children about outer space. The initiative, accompanied by Coordination Secretary Mario Benavente, aims to provide a unique educational experience combining technology and imagination.

Located in the Domo del Parque del Encuentro, the simulator was built entirely by young professionals from Santiago del Estero. It utilizes 360-degree immersive reality technology to recreate virtual journeys through the universe, planets, and other celestial bodies. The first participating institutions included Kindergartens No. 1 ‘Blancanieves’ and No. 22 ‘Virgen del Carmen’.
